Our chauffeur, Quinn. Haha.
Becky and I decided to go to a fashion show last night, super spur of the moment. We got all dressed up, and I was wearing two of the pieces she made. We walked over to a thrift store and found the most awesome robe/shirt for her to wear to it. It was a golden find, and I made sure that she bought it. We had our photos taken quiet a bit at the show, by fashion bloggers, and someone from City Pages. It was pretty insane. This one guy took some photos of us with his Instax, and let us keep a couple. He also took one with some sort of 35mm rangefinder. He was really nice. Super cool personality.
Some of the clothing being shown was so bad. There was this one line that looked like 80s wedding dresses, but other than that there were some really well made garments. It was really interesting to see the crowd as well…almost more interesting, actually. Becky and I are hoping to get ourselves into showing a fall collection when it comes to that time. We got a lot of our summer line designed yesterday, and feel really happy with it. We picked out the fabrics today and it’s coming along really nicely. Becky is actually working on one of the pieces right now.
Last week I approached this girl I saw in the Goodwill about modeling for some photoshoots. She seemed really interested and flattered. So now to find another person and start planning photoshoots.
So much to do.
