in the work room

Goldie London and Red Velvet cheesecake bars

Love these looks by Goldie London... and stumbled upon these delectable looking bars..

I really like the proportions on the shorts and bell sleeve top, how the hem of the shorts and the sleeve length are the same.

I have a great faux suede fabric in rust, planning on making shorts similar to these... must have pockets in the side seam. I like how the front and the back are clean... no extra pockets or seams.

I think this would be a fun place to have a photo shoot, and around the neighborhood. One of my favorite places in Minneapolis, they have great shows here! We will have to make it a regular place when you are here...

Hats

We totally need a faux fur hat for styling photoshoots. We could make one! And then sell it!

I found some pretty cool ones on Etsy:

(not sure what's up with that weird
embellishment, but the rest of it is cool)

I like this one.

-Forever 21...$12.80! Hah.

Another type of hat that would be fun...
$17.80

$16.80

Ugh, I just love hats...and jewelry...and any other accessory.
Styling is going to be so much fun.

Anyway, can't wait to see all the things that you're designing up, Beck!

First 'mood board' I've ever made. I want to make a lot more of them,
they're pretty fun, and a good inspiration resource.

This is a very rough sketched website idea.
Let me know what you think! It's really just the
structure/layout here. I'm hoping I can go over it with Josh soon.

Here's my idea for the links that are up top:
"Shop" would be for all the things that are currently for sale.
"LifeStyle" would be for all the fun/editorial photos.
"Collection(s)" would be for all the clothing you've made, both sold and not sold. There's a few different ways we could go with this section. It could just show the current season's collection, or it could show past collections as well. Whatever you want to do :) Actually, new idea. We could do both, and just have the current season featured, and have previous seasons in an archive.

Different kinds of photos would be taken for all three different sections,
so that everything isn't the same.

"Blog" and "About" are pretty self explanatory.
...I still need to figure out designs for all these pages.

The "Fall/Winter 2012" headline would change by season.

The middle area will be some type of photo collage.

"Email signup" for blog updates, and links at the bottom of the page to
facebook/twitter/tumblr, whatever social networking sites we'll use...and yeah.

A "Purchase our catalog" link to MagCloud, and that's about it.

Our website will have some character, and won't look as plain as this sketch ;) It needs some tweaking. You and I have colors to pick out and so much more! Even though we won't get this up until we have some actual content to put on there, I'm trying to figure out as much of this that I can with Josh--while I still live here! Mainly just giving him a clear idea on design, so any ideas you have...

A short for the french fashion magazine Jalouse starring Ashley Smith.
By Matthew Frost.

I absolutely love this. I wish I knew a source,
or who made it, and could see the front.
Ugh...killin' me.

Edit:
Found it!

The front could be a lot better,
in my opinion. But, it's still awesome.
